Life in Forsyth Blog

Lucy Cash's blog Life in Forsyth is a daily reminder why we live in this community. There are so many wonderful landmarks, hidden jewels, events, and people that make this community great, and Lucy brings them to life with her jaunts about town.

Lucy, a.k.a Esbee, is a "stay-at-home" mother of two boys, who does not stay at home very often. She is out exploring our city as it should be explored and sharing her experiences with her faithful readers.

You will get to know a lot of the regulars in the comment section: Yarddawg, 4thBG, KT, Esbette, l.c., just to name a few. Her readers are a community within the community and add to the charm of the blog.

Lucy's writing style is a reflection of her personality. She is smart, witty, and a bit goofy on occasion. All things that I look for in any type of entertainment.

If you are new to Winston-Salem, or even if you have lived here your entire life there is something in the blog for everyone and you may discover that there is more to this county than you thought.

Winston-Salem Monthly Magazine

It is the first week in January and we are all looking for things to do indoors.

A hot cup of Krankies Holiday roast, fuzzy slippers, and a blanket and I am ready to dive into the January 2010 issue of Winston-Salem Monthly.

I signed up for this magazine at a festival downtown and have enjoyed it ever since. It is a wonderful glimse into our area with wonderful tips about shopping, events, and the people that make Winston-Salem such a great place to live, work and play.
